This been my first attempt at growing and am more than pleased with the outcome of these two girls. Ive put alot of it to cure but from the bits i have smoked these girls are heavy hitters for sure! The taste and smell is amazing  :yum:
The Tangie has been curing for three weeks in Mason jars with 58% Boveda packs. This plant was beautiful with an even canopy and spear shaped flowers reeking of greasy citrus.
When opening the jar, the smell is undeniably citrus. I’d prefer a sweeter pheno but this is hardly a complaint. The Tangie smokes smooth and the effect is clear, with orange coughdrop on the pallette. Its nice and I enjoy it, though not my best. I give this Tangie an 8/10 from Nirvana.
The Zkittlez has been curing for three weeks in mason jars with 58% Boveda packs. This flower is beautiful with a subtly-rich purple hue that speaks to its candy heritage. Opening the jar, I’m met with a funk that isn’t really candy and isn’t really sweet. But after putting her through the grinder, that bag-of-candy aroma explodes.
I had such high hopes for this plant early on because she smelled like a bag of candy before she ever even flowered. But the smell isn’t truly there until you prepare her for smoking. Once you do, the high is mellow and relaxing, and any level of smoker could enjoy her. I recommend this strain for any lightweights out there like me, or anyone who’s looking for a fun and delicious strain to experience.
I cannot update my rating on this strain, but its a true 8/10 for me on Zkittlez from Nirvana.
The Lithium OG Kush has been curing for three weeks in mason Jars with 58% Boveda packs. This is the most underwhelming flower of the group, though it isn’t unpleasant by any means.
Upon opening the jar, I’m met with an earthy black tea aroma thats mild and unoffensive. But it isn’t particularly delicious either, and so its just not for me. The smoke is mild, as is the effect. I can’t change my rating on this strain, but it is a true 6/10 for me on the Lithium OG Kush from Nirvana.
I harvested 49g of the STICKIEST buds I have ever grown. This Gelato after twenty days drying and eight days curing has become wonderfully creamy, soft and rosy with a delicious mint tone. And damn does she hit hard! I’ll update this one after a few more weeks, but yeah I’m in love.
Update: The Gelato has been curing for three weeks in mason jars with 58% Boveda packs. This flower is beautiful, and the frosty purple hues make for nice bag appeal.
Smoking Gelato brings with it the floral and mint notes, and its creamy on the exhale. The effect is hard hitting and not for lightweights. I smoked too much during my first experince with this flower and I paid the price with heavy anxiety. One Ashwagandha capsule later and I was feeling much better. Be careful with this one as she’s a knockout. Her effect can be pleasantly uplifting with the right dosage.
Of the five strains grown in this journal, the Gelato is the winner of the group. I can’t change my initial rating, but she’s a 9/10 for me. This is the first plant I’ve grown with such a wonderful floral aroma and I hope she’s not the last. Excellent strain from Nirvana.
Well these girls have been an absolute pleasure to grow. Handled anything that was thrown at them, like high temps and humidity, a case of thrips, under watering, overwatering. You name it and they’ve just bounced back so well.. They smell is sooooo light, so so mild, which is such a shock as although Nirvana say it’s a low smelling strain, I did expect that to be a bit of a gimmick with my lack of previous experience. But. it really truly is a low smell strain if your looking to keep it stealth.
That being said they do smell fruity with a woody essence so far.. Buds feel solid and I hope they stay that way.. :crossed_fingers:
Will update once dried with a smoke report!
UPDATE: Saturday 5th December
I’ve ended up with 62g on the scales now dry and that’s after a few joints already :star-struck:
Smoke is light with no harsh burn on the throat, ash looks pretty light to me but I’ve never thought to check that before :relaxed:. Very sweet undertones of fruits and a subtle woody pine smells come through..
At first smoke! I’m sat there thinking well this is a little ok, you know just nice and heady not too strong. Almost a little disappointed that some how I’ve obviously messed this all up and then mother fucking BOOM :boom. Steam train hits you.. I’m still not sure how to describe it all, still a little heady, upbeat, but lovely and relaxing all rolled into one. But wow totally full on. Not woozy or couch-locked but defo smacks you round the face. My arms and legs feel all tingly.. I  this strain a lot. I’m sooooo pleased with the result. Now in jars curing so I hope the smell and taste develops more with time :heart_eyes.
Thanks to the Seedsman for supplying such top quality products like this wonderful Nirvana Papaya strain. It’s been an absolute pleasure! I’ve got a lovely cutting in with my last girl doing really nicely which I’m going to put back into veg once the last lady is finished (keeping the last lady in flower a bit longer as the hubby struggles with sleep and I wanted to give him a proper sleep medicine).
UPDATE: Wednesday 9th December:
Last lady chopped today. Her wet weight came in at 3.63oz and currently drying out, so will update the total dry weight very soon..
